History

A fire sadly damaged the farm, which was originally an agricultural and cattle farm, back in 1959. At the time the original farmhouse was situated much further into the valley and landscape. The farmhouse that now stands in place was built in 1960 with the decision taken to move the house closer to the service road. With the rebuild of the farmhouse in 1960 guest accommodation was added. In 1975 the owner Alois Geiser tragically passed away in a tractor accident and left behind his wife and 3 children. In 1976 the young widow Maria turned the farmhouse into a guesthouse and Inn, which she managed until 1996.
